We have changed our name in response to the feedback we received from so many of you asking that the name be more inclusive. Thanks for all your responses and your great input. As it is our goal to include everyone, we have changed our name to 18 Million Voices and redirected our original Website to this page. Nothing else has changed, we are just that much stronger by including everyone's voice. We hope this change causes no confusion or inconvenience. In the future, please link directly to this site. Our email is the same RiseHillaryRise@gmail.com
Thanks,
RiseHillaryRise

Home From Denver
We have returned from Denver, and from a wonderful celebration of Women's Equality Day and Senator Hillary Clinton.
We have created a "sister site" that contains photos, narrative, videos, and press coverage detailing our Denver efforts. Please visit this link http://rhrdenver.blogspot.com to read all about it! And please keep checking back to this site for new details of our ongoing advocacy for women's rights! More to come VERY soon...stay tuned!

I'm really excited about the new name. It's actually a really great idea because now there can even be a sub-theme to this march.
Since it is 18 million "voices" that means that people's words can be used as well physical people. So, quotes of what people have been saying on various blog sites or any Clinton supporter can be used.
Since this also is about women, now we can echo the voices of famous women in history from here and around the world.
Maybe there can even be one major tape recording that can be blasted with portable speakers of many different voices saying different things, but they would say them in brief sentences, so all would know that it is many different voices being broadcast.
Also, it is nice because Hillary said that she found her own voice that time, and also she has said that she would speak out for the voiceless, and then there's that site "Hillary Speaks for Me..." You know, and now it's our turn to speak for her and for America.
I love the new name "18 Million Voices".
Hillary found her voice... and then 18 Million Voices found Hillary! WooooHoooo!!
Great name, 18 million voices. Katherine's idea of using quotes is excellent. Is there a state coordinator for Oregon?
Great name chang and great site. I hope to be part of the march to Denver. Can't wait until there is a meeting place in New Jersey.

If there is not yet a state coordinator for Oregon, become one!
I have never done this before, and I am doing it for Wisconsin, and having a blast. All the tools you need are at Meetup.com. It is very easy, and you will feel good!

Hi, I live in Central Denver, less than two miles from the Pepsi Center, where the convention will be held. My house is small but my yard is big (and very nice, with a pond and waterfall and lots of flowers). I can host a few people who want to come - but you may have to sleep in tents in the backyard. It won't be horrible, because we don't have mosquitoes, it gets cool at night even in August, and I have two good tents and inflatable mattresses. I do have a single inflatable bed in my office, too, and a couch. I only have one bathroom. But I'm offering shelter to people who want to come to Denver and march. If you can help with food expenses I'll even cook for you.
If you can get to Denver, I've reserved a room 30 miles from the Pepsi Center. Any ladies who need a place to sleep or shower are VERY welcome to join us! You may have to sleep on the floor, but it beats sleeping in your car! I just ask that you split expenses for the room, the more people the cheaper for all of us! I say pack that room to the rafters, we'll have a party!! Email me at reddirtgirl1@hughes.net.
